Blogospherenews.com is a social news site and here you can submit your own articles and also you can vote others and their service and digg service are quit similar. Blogospherenews has some nice features too. You can manage your personal information and you can see your submited or published or commented articles and also your every articles firstly go to upcoming section and easily checkout your site status.
This site has some specific categories “general, blogging news, blog software, theme and templates, blog design, tutorials and tips, plug ins and hacks, web services”. But, I think both digg and blogospherenews has same limitation only on that section. I found some articles can’t submit here with categorize basis. But, I found on blogospherenews that you can add your own tag and thats nice features.
