Take A Backup Of Your Flickr Photos Through Flickrfs

Written by Sakib on February 2, 2008 at 10:53 pm

flickr_logo.pngCan you think that you can take a backup of your Flickr accounts. I am sure you not. But, for your kind information, if sometimes people intentionally or unintentionally break the flickr’s tos, flickr will instantly delete all, of your contents. No matter, how popular you are, how much picture you upload on your account, how much tag you use on your account and even they don’t care or confirm you. Just suspended.

Flickrfs is a virtual file system which mounts your Flickr account on a Linux machine, allowing you to browse through your photos as if they are locally on your hard drive. But, once mounted it retrieves information about your photos hosted on your flickr account and shows them as files. And then, you can easily upload your photos on your flickr account and even if you like you can download your flickr photos on your local drive. If you modify such as tag, description, title or license or anything that should be automatically updated.

You can select your default resolution and after selecting your photos will be automatically updated by flickrfs.

If you want to know more and want to use this service, better you should go and carefully read full instruction and sure you enjoy this service.
