You know that, anytime from anywhere you can open a gmail account and If the user name is free. But if you are not though the user name is free on gmail.com. But, it has some specific reasons…

It's really amazing one thing that google carefully maintain and when you're going to open a gmail account, if you like you can select or can open any types user name with yourusername@gmail.com but it's not possible for you to open a account which should be relevant with google service or anything which will make other confused or fraud and such as googlemyid@gmail.com or googlegoogle@gmail.com and automatically you will get the messages " your desired user name is not available, but this following usernames are: …"

So, if you tried your best you can't make yourself account acceptable. So, don't try to do that.
