Most recently Google Gear Team enabled Google Gear for Safari user. Now, user can work on Zoho Writer – online word processor (web based online Word Processor to create, edit and shared documents easily. Get rid of your desktop word processors) on offline mode. It’s so easy to work on Zoho and visit at http://writer.zoho.com/offline.
Arvind said on official blog of zoho writer, “For Zoho Writer to work offline, you’ll need to have Google Gears plug-in installed in Safari. In Zoho Writer, click on the ‘Go Offline’ link at the top-right to access your documents offline. By default, we download 15 documents each from ‘My Docs’ and ‘Shared Docs’ section. You can change the default setting by clicking on the down arrow beside ‘Go Offline’ link. The documents are downloaded based on the ‘Sort Order’ in your ‘My Docs’ section.”
So, mac user has no limitations to work offline and when you’re online that will synchronize your offline works and everything goes normal. Enjoy.
