Blogger team always experimenting new gadgets for the blogger.com and now they enabled default stats gadgets under blogger widgets. Now, it’s much easier to track how many people visiting your websites–initially it was in Draft area. Now, it’s moved.

When I was regular use of Blogger, I used third parities scripts to track the visitors (numbers specially) and also used Google Analytics for my websites.
