According to their official blog site, Gmail announced another one features which named “Tasks” is helping to manage your To-Do-List inside your gmail inbox. It’s now available on Gmail Lab. Without using Remember The Milk (Online to do list and task management) — you can use To-Do-List and manage all of your works list and so on inside the inbox. RememberTheMilk, where you have to install firefox plug-ins and required registrations and now “Tasks” it’s lightweight and easy to manage all things. Just one or two steps way.
Jonathan Terleski says, “Take entering a new task: just click in an empty part of your list and start typing. No buttons to click and it’s saved automatically. Hit Return and you’ve got a new task right there. You can also easily convert emails into tasks: select one or more messages and go to More Actions > Add to Tasks. (Or turn on keyboard shortcuts and use <shift> + t.). We put your tasks in the same kind of window as chats, so they’re visible while you’re scanning your inbox, reading mail, or searching (and in Settings, too!). Just pop your list out into a new window to use Tasks outside of Gmail.”
However, If want to try out this features, go to settings then Lab Tab and enable “tasks” and save it. That’s it.
