Google Analytics Enabled With Panoramio

Panoramio–is photo share community, where people sharing high quality photos and those are always visible to Google Earth as because the user have to Geo-tagged all the photos they upload. When we using Google Earth, we seeing thumb photo boxes and even several photos in single places. All the photos are generating from Panoramio and one click away and that will show photos inside Google Earth.


Official Google announced Google Earth and Maps, they integrated Google Analytics with Panoramio–thus an user now can track who is seeing the photos, from the photos are seeing. Also, it will show graph of visibility, the counters too.

“We’re excited to announce that detailed statistics are now available to users directly within their Panoramio account. Think of Panoramio Stats as a photo-specific version of Google Analytics for Panoramio – in other words, a powerful web analytics tool that helps you measure the performance of your photos. With this new feature, you can track the sites from which your photos have been viewed in visually appealing and intuitive reports.

These statistics are available for every photographer and surface granular information about each photo. For example, a reports for the last 30 days can be broken down by referral domain so photographers can see how many times their photos were viewed within Panoramio, on Google Earth, Google Maps, and through Panoramio’s Widget API. — Official Earth & Maps Blog”

The user will get information, if the photos showed in Google Maps, Google Earth and as well from directly at Panoramio. So, it’s much easier to get information about photos popularity.
